We have undertaken and successfully completed projects ranging from EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) to reimbursable and are flexible to our clients needs in this regard. STS employs experienced project personnel including Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Quality and Safety specialists and specialist trades personnel. In addition, STS owns an extensive array of construction equipment including side booms, construction camps, cranes, trucks and hiabs, welding machinery, scaffold and PE lining equipment. Many of the projects STS undertake are executed in remote locations to tight budgets and aggressive deadlines requiring stringent project management and a commitment to meeting the project's goals. Specialist subcontractors support STS's project and construction business. Many of STS's subcontractors are long-term suppliers as we believe in the benefits and value of long-term relationships and the need to support our suppliers and clients at all stages of a business relationship. Recently Completed Projects Include: Burhaan Phase II Gathering Station-Client Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) A multidiscipline Oil Gathering and Water Separation project involving installation of a 230 tonne production separator, heavy civil foundations including a large insitu concrete control room, reinforced concrete relief pit and associated earthworks, 15 tonne water injection pumps, 120-tonne of structural steel, heavy schedule large bore FBE piping and all electrical and instrumentation works. The work was located in a remote area of the PDO northern concession area and the project was successfully executed to very tight project deadlines. Mercury Recovery Project-Client Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) A multidiscipline project consisting of design, civil works including mass concrete foundations for Mercury absorber vessels, filters, equipment structures and pipe supports, equipment installation, 100-tonne of structural steel work, heavy wall piping involving PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment) , painting, electrical, instrumentation and pre-commissioning works. SUR PRT (Pressure Reduction Terminal) -Client Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) A multidiscipline project involving civil works, total location development, control building, foundations, stone pitching and fencing works, installation of filter separators, heaters and vent stack, carbon steel piping, structural work, under ground distribution network of HDPE piping to industrial area, electrical, instrumentation and pre-commissioning works. The work was located in the coastal area and the project was successfully executed to very tight project deadlines and budgets.
